## Adding Your iCloud Account

1. Go to **Fantastical → Settings → Accounts** and add your iCloud account

2. Enter your Apple Account's primary email address (you can check your primary email address at [account.apple.com](https://account.apple.com/))

3. Generate an app-specific password:
   - Go to [account.apple.com](https://account.apple.com/)
   - Under the **Sign-In and Security** section, select **App-Specific Passwords**
   - Click/tap the plus button, then name and create your app-specific password (e.g. "Fantastical")
4. Paste the generated app-specific password into Fantastical's **App-Specific Password** field

If the iCloud account listed in Fantastical's settings does not match your Apple Account's primary email address, remove the account from Fantastical and re-add it using the primary email address.

## Still having trouble?

If Fantastical still says your password is incorrect, try the following:

1. Open **Fantastical → Settings → Accounts**
2. Remove your iCloud account from Fantastical
3. Quit and relaunch Fantastical
4. Go to [account.apple.com](https://account.apple.com/)
5. Select **App-Specific Passwords** in the **Sign-in and Security** section
6. Click/tap **Revoke All** (you may not see these buttons if you don't have any app-specific passwords)
7. Click/tap the plus button, then name and create your app-specific password (e.g. "Fantastical")
8. Open Fantastical's settings and re-add your iCloud account using your primary Apple Account email address and your app-specific password

## Why is Fantastical asking for my iCloud password?

Fantastical uses your iCloud password to ensure that your events and reminders are kept in sync with iCloud. Fantastical only uses your password to connect to iCloud; your password or data is never sent to Flexibits or any other third party.
